About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned security expert to lead our application security efforts. This is a hands-on technical role with significant influence over our company's security posture, from code to cloud.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in penetration testing and offensive security practices, as well as excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

This position requires expertise in secure design patterns, threat modelling, and architecture assessments to identify vulnerabilities across our products and infrastructure.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform code reviews and threat modelling to ensure the security of internal and customer-facing applications.
  • Guide engineering teams on secure development practices and design patterns.
  • Integrate and maintain security tooling (SAST, DAST, SCA) into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to remediate identified vulnerabilities and design secure solutions.

Additional responsibilities include conducting manual and automated penetration tests, simulating attacker behaviors to assess technical weaknesses and business risks, creating detailed reports with risk ratings and actionable remediation guidance, re-testing findings and validating security fixes, planning and executing red team operations, developing custom tools and scripts, collaborating to improve detection and response capabilities, contributing to the development of offensive security playbooks and adversary emulation plans.
