Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Automation Tester to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in automation testing, with a strong understanding of web-based architecture and the ability to debug errors.

They will be responsible for translating test cases into automation scripts using C#, adhering to coding standards and guidelines, and performing manual testing of web-based applications and web services.

The successful candidate will also have good knowledge of Scrum guidelines, SDLC, and STLC processes, as well as hands-on experience in service testing tools like Fiddler, SOAP UI, POSTMAN, Protractor, and Playwright.

  • Translate test cases into automation scripts using C#.
  • Adhere to coding standards and guidelines defined for automation.
  • Perform manual testing of web-based applications and web services in a client-server environment.
  • Be proactive in working on both manual and automation testing.
  • Have a good understanding of web-based architecture and manage to debug any web or server errors.
  • Understand functional, database, sanity, end-to-end integration, and regression testing independently, adhering to Scrum guidelines.
  • Review code and fix any issues identified in scheduled automation runs.
  • Perform root cause analysis of script failures and logged bugs.
  • Submit and track automation-identified defects.
  • Escalate and follow up in a timely manner about all blocking issues and deviations from SOPs.
