Job Description:

  • Implement, monitor and manage SIEM and SOAR solutions for threat detection and response. These systems play a crucial role in safeguarding an enterprise's digital assets from cyber threats.
  • Perform log analysis, incident response, and vulnerability management across various enterprise environments to ensure robust security posture.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and Bash to enhance security operations efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage and secure systems in Linux and Red Hat environments with version control (GitLab, GitHub) to prevent unauthorized access and data breaches.
  • Support security configurations and monitoring for cloud platforms (MS Azure) to guarantee seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Apply strong knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals (firewalls, proxies, IDS/IPS, endpoint security) to mitigate potential risks and threats.
  • Ensure secure networking practices (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, DHCP) and risk management strategies are implemented throughout the organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security compliance and governance, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to DevSecOps initiatives, including container security, GDPR, HIPAA, and web security, to drive innovation and improvement in security practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong expertise in security operations, scripting, cloud environments, and secure networking.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with ability to work under pressure and collaborate effectively with team members.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with hands-on experience in SIEM, SOAR, and other security products.
  • Proficiency with Linux/Red Hat systems, GitLab, GitHub, and MS Azure is necessary.
  • In-depth understanding of networking protocols, vulnerabilities, and risk management is essential.
