Role Summary
The Sales Merchandiser is a pivotal position within the garment industry, accountable for facilitating smooth workflow through effective communication and coordination with various departments.
This role requires an individual to assist management and senior merchandisers in their day-to-day work activities, ensuring timely order management, sampling, and deliveries.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Fashion, or a related field, along with relevant experience in a similar role within the garment industry. Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills are essential, as is attention to detail with an emphasis on quality control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Management & Sr. Merchandiser in day-to-day work activities
- Manage orders, including expediting order-related processes and converting leads to orders
- Provide costing to buyers and handle sampling and orders as advised by Management
- Ensure on-time delivery of shipments and proactively identify potential delays in shipment/production process/sourcing team
- Adhere to systems and processes implemented from time to time
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Fashion, or a related field
- Previous experience in a similar role within the garment industry
- Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills
- Attention to detail with an emphasis on quality control
