We are looking for an experienced eCommerce Developer to join our dynamic team. As a skilled developer with a passion for e-commerce and a strong understanding of Shopify, you will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining Shopify e-commerce websites for clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain Shopify e-commerce websites.
- Extend theme's functionality for custom cart, filters or similar requirements.
- Work with metaobject and metafield structuring for complex data structures.
- Collaborate with designers and other developers to understand key problems and implement solutions.
- Cross-functional collaboration to define, design and ship new features.
- Ensure application performance, quality and responsiveness.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Experience with front-end JavaScript libraries like React, Vue, Svelte, etc.
- Competence in Vanilla JavaScript (ES6) including async JavaScript.
- Experience in Liquid and SCSS (or tailwind / MUI).
- Excellent communication skills with ability to clearly document and report issues.
- Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical team members.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Shopify developer or relevant skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
- Experience with Shopify development is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of Shopify metaobject and metafield structures is advantageous.
- Portfolio of past projects demonstrating required skills and experience.
- Familiarity with Shopify's Liquid template language and Shopify's app ecosystem.
- Experience with API testing and third-party integrations.
- Understanding of Shopify themes, plugins and how customizations are handled in Shopify stores.
