Senior Software Engineer

The ideal candidate for this role will be responsible for designing and developing back-end SaaS applications, object-oriented programming (OOP), distributed systems, and data modeling. This includes overseeing the entire software development lifecycle to ensure product features are designed and delivered according to business requirements.

  • Build high throughput, low latency software for business-critical processes
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain core pieces of the platform
  • End-to-end development of new features and functionality
  • Debug and troubleshoot production issues
  • Participate in design and code reviews
  • Collaborate with customer-facing teams to resolve issues and generate new ideas
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 10+ years of work experience in product engineering
  • Bachelor's, Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Experience working with distributed systems and high-throughput data pipelines
  • Extreme proficiency in Kotlin or Java
  • Strong knowledge of Kafka and Spring Boot
  • Outstanding problem-solving, analytical, design and debugging skills
  • Fast learner with the ability to pick up and apply new technologies quickly
  • Experience with AWS Cloud Infrastructure
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Experience with common dev ops and tools a plus
