Rocket UniData Expert

About this role:

• Achieve excellence in designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing applications built on Rocket UniData and Universe platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce high-quality code that meets business needs and industry standards through development and maintenance.
• Analyze existing codebases and implement system improvements, bug fixes, and enhancements.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet requirements.
• Support data integration between MultiValue databases and modern systems.
• Participate in modernization efforts including migration, documentation, and system re-architecture.
• Provide production support, including troubleshooting and performance tuning.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience working with Rocket UniData and Universe.
• Strong knowledge of PickBasic/UniBasic, Procs, Paragraphs, and TCL programming languages.
• Familiarity with MultiValue data modeling, indexes, and file structures.
• Experience integrating UniData/Universe with external systems.
• Understanding of modern software development practices (version control, DevOps).
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and documentation capabilities.
