Job Description
The Senior SDET will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality software products for Snapmint's customers. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with big data, custom hardware, and multi-platform software development. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop automated functional integration tests and end-to-end tests. The successful candidate will work under limited supervision and direction, exercising discretionary decision-making authority.

Key Responsibilities
- Test complex API, web, and mobile applications that interact with database back-end systems.
- Develop and maintain automated test cases, execute test suites, review, and diagnose reported bugs to ensure overall system quality before customer release.
- Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot automated test suites through continuous integration for value-added feedback.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to derive testing requirements throughout the development cycle.
- Reproduce, debug, and isolate problems, verify fixes, and work closely with software developers to create software artifacts like test plans, test cases, test procedures, and test reports.

Requirements
The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology and a minimum of two years of experience in either a Software Development Engineer or SDET role. Key skills include proficiency in Java/Python, strong experience in API testing, knowledge of databases and SQL, and experience with Linux, Windows, and/or mobile devices. Familiarity with test processes, open-source test frameworks, test design strategies, writing test cases, and automating tests using frameworks like JUnit/TestNG, Selenium, JMeter, and Appium is preferred.
