Software Engineer Position

We are seeking an experienced software engineer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable web applications using the MERN stack.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy full-stack web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.
  • Develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces using React.js and its ecosystem.
  • Build and maintain robust and scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
  • Design and manage databases using MongoDB, ensuring data integrity and optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other developers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
  • Perform thorough testing, debugging, and optimization of applications to ensure high performance and reliability.
  • Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in MERN stack development.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
  • Expertise in React.js (including Hooks, Context API, Redux/MobX, React Router) and related front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, SCSS/LESS, Tailwind CSS).
  • Extensive experience with Node.js and Express.js for building scalable backend services.
  • Solid understanding of MongoDB (schema design, aggregation, indexing, Mongoose ORM).
  • Experience with RESTful API design, development, and consumption.
  • Proficiency with version control systems, especially Git.
  • Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and promises.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Preferred Skills

While not required, having experience with the following skills will make your application more competitive:

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and deployment strategies.
  • Experience with containerization (Docker).
  • Knowledge of other databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
  • Experience with GraphQL.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Exposure to microservices architecture.
