Reports To: Director – Projects / Plant Head

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced industrial project director to oversee the execution of a 50 KLPD biofuel plant project.

The ideal candidate will drive the project from inception through commissioning, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, performance targets, and operational readiness.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute projects efficiently, ensuring timely completion and budgetary constraints.

2. Provide technical oversight to guarantee quality and compliance with industry standards.

3. Manage project teams, including engineers, technicians, and contractors.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred).

Certifications: PMP or PRINCE2 certification an asset.

Experience: Minimum 5 years in industrial project management, with at least 3 projects in the biofuel, chemical, or oil & gas sectors.

Key Skills and Knowledge Areas:

Biodiesel production process, including transesterification, washing, drying, methanol recovery.

Boiler operations and maintenance.

Feedstock logistics and handling.

Effluent control systems (ETP/STP) and plant automation systems (SCADA/DCS).
