Join our organization as a Strategic Sourcing Electronics Senior Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the procurement function.

  • We're seeking a seasoned sourcing professional with expertise in electronic component sourcing, BOM analysis, and supplier communication.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Analyze Bills of Materials (BOMs) to generate accurate quotes for prototype and bulk production.
  2. Source active and passive components, PCBs, and electronic parts globally.
  3. BUILD AND MAINTAIN STRONG VENDOR RELATIONSHIPS; EVALUATE SUPPLIER PERFORMANCE AND RELIABILITY.
  4. Negotiate pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules to ensure project success.
  5. Collaborate with engineering, production, and logistics teams to align procurement with project timelines.
  6. Utilize software tools (ERP or similar) to manage procurement processes and maintain accurate data.
  7. Monitor market trends, component availability, and price fluctuations to minimize risk and optimize sourcing.
Requirements:
  1. At least 3 years of sourcing/procurement experience in an EMS company.
  2. Strong knowledge of electronic components, BOM-based quoting, and global sourcing strategies.
  3. Familiarity with procurement software tools (ERP or equivalent platforms).
  4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  5. Understanding of logistics and supply chain operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Degree in Electronics, Electrical, or related field.
  2. Exposure to international sourcing and import/export compliance.
  3. Knowledge of standards such as RoHS, IPC, and ISO.
