About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Data Operations Specialist to support our machine learning initiatives at Nurix. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone to gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge AI technologies while developing core data skills.


Job Description

The successful candidate will work directly with our ML team to prepare, clean, and maintain datasets that power our machine learning models. They will learn to leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) for data generation and augmentation while developing expertise in prompt engineering.


Main Responsibilities
  • Curate and clean datasets used for training machine learning models.
  • Process and analyze audio data from customer call conversations.
  • Identify and tag key segments in call recordings for ML training purposes.
  • Apply best practices in data quality assurance and validation.
  • Collaborate with ML engineers to understand data requirements and specifications.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for data processing workflows.
  • Learn to create effective prompts for LLMs to generate and augment datasets.
  • Drive data labeling and annotation projects for both text and audio data.
  • Help identify and resolve data quality issues across various data types.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss data needs and challenges.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 0-2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data manipulation.
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical mindset.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
