Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Supervisor to join our team at Asian Hires. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the corporate accounting activities, with a focus on end-to-end billing process, collection, and revenue recognition in accordance with US GAAP.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the corporate accounting activities, including billing, collection, and revenue recognition.
  • Ensure smooth month-end closing activities from Accounts Receivable, Revenue Accounting, Monthly Accruals, and account reconciliations.
  • Maintain and enforce a documented system of accounting policies, procedures, and internal safeguards.
  • Evaluate accounting and internal control systems.
  • Oversee the operations of the accounting function, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives.
  • Train, develop, and lead the accounting team to maximize the strengths of each team member.
  • Provide service to internal and external clients by addressing inquiries regarding invoicing, payments, and aging status.
  • Develop and publish reporting metrics of KPIs.
  • Integrate analysis with the balance of the Finance team to ensure consistent financial views across the organization.

Requirements

  • Graduation in Business, Accounting, or Finance; Masters' degree will be an advantage.
  • 10+ years of professional hands-on accounting experience, including 3+ years of supervisory experience.
  • Experience with Oracle NetSuite highly preferred.
  • Exposure to other popular Accounting applications, such as Tally, QuickBooks.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including excellent Excel skills.
  • Strong ability to collaborate with all levels across the organization.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, with problem-solving ability.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Work under stress with interruptions and deadlines.
