Our finance team is seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to support our business operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.

They will also prepare and maintain accurate financial records in compliance with Australian accounting standards, assist with BAS and tax-related filings, and process payroll and superannuation contributions as required.

A highly organized and detail-oriented individual with strong knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks, or MYOB is ideal for this role. Excellent English communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision are also essential.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
    • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in compliance with Australian accounting standards.
    • Assist with BAS, GST, and other tax-related filings.
    • Process payroll and superannuation contributions (if required).
    • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
    • Work with accountants to prepare financial reports and ensure compliance.
    • Manage invoicing, receipts, and expense tracking.
  • Qualifications & Skills:
    • Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience (Australian clients or companies preferred).
    • Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks, or MYOB.
    • Knowledge: Solid understanding of BAS, GST, superannuation, and other Australian compliance requirements.
    • Communication: Fluent English (written and verbal). Clear, professional, and confident communicator.
    • Work Style: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Preferred:
    • Previous experience working with Australian businesses.
    • Certification in bookkeeping or accounting.
