About the Role
HT Digital Streams is seeking a highly driven Digital Advertising Leader to join our team as an Ad Sales Manager. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing ad sales strategies to achieve revenue targets from Auto OEMs.
The ideal candidate will have a strong network within the automotive industry, deep knowledge of digital advertising platforms, and the ability to drive revenue growth through ROI-focused ad solutions. You will work closely with our ad operations & analytics team to ensure seamless campaign execution and monitor campaign performance metrics (CTR, conversion rates, ROAS) and suggest optimizations.
We are looking for someone who can build strong relationships with marketing heads, media planners, and brand managers at Auto OEMs. As a trusted advisor, you will guide them on performance-driven ad strategies and ensure client retention and satisfaction through timely reporting & campaign optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Revenue Growth
- 1. Develop and execute ad sales strategies to achieve revenue targets from Auto OEMs.
- 2. Identify, pitch, and close deals with automobile brands, and industry partners/Agencies.
- 3. Focus on selling performance-based ad solutions (CPC, CPA, CPL) across digital platforms.
- 4. Optimize upselling and cross-selling opportunities with existing clients.
Client Relationship Management
- 1. Build strong relationships with marketing heads, media planners, and brand managers at Auto OEMs.
- 2. Serve as a trusted advisor for clients, guiding them on performance-driven ad strategies.
- 3. Ensure client retention and satisfaction through timely reporting & campaign optimization.
Campaign Execution & Performance Analysis
- 1. Work closely with the ad operations & analytics team to ensure seamless campaign execution.
- 2. Monitor campaign performance metrics (CTR, conversion rates, ROAS) and suggest optimizations.
- 3. Provide post-campaign analysis and recommendations to clients.
Industry & Market Intelligence
- 1. Stay updated on trends in digital advertising, auto industry marketing, and programmatic innovations.
- 2. Monitor competitor strategies and identify new revenue opportunities.
- 3. Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to build brand presence and network.
Requirements:
Experience & Skills
- 1. 5-8 years of experience in Ad Sales / Business Development in the Auto industry.
- 2. Strong Auto OEM network/ Agency network and deep understanding of automotive digital marketing needs.
- 3. Proven track record of selling performance-based campaigns (CPC, CPL, CPA, CPM).
- 4. Hands-on experience with Google Ads, Meta, Programmatic Platforms, Native Advertising, and Auto Portals.
- 5. Ability to analyze data, track campaign KPIs, and suggest data-driven optimizations.
- 6. Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- 7. Ability to close high-value deals with Auto OEMs.
Educational Qualification
- 1. Bachelor's/Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising, or a related field.

Revenue & Sales Performance
- 1. Ad sales revenue target achievement (monthly/quarterly).
- 2. Number of new Auto OEMs onboarded for performance campaigns.
- 3. Revenue growth from existing clients (upselling & cross-selling).

- 1. Client retention rate (repeat business from Auto OEMs).
- 2. Customer satisfaction score (CSAT) from advertisers.
- 3. Timely campaign execution and performance tracking.

- 1. Number of new Auto advertisers approached & pitched.
