Job Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team in Central Europe.

  • This role involves working closely with clients to provide innovative data-driven solutions.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Supporting data science solutions for client requests;
  • Providing initial recommendations for complex client-raised issues;
  • Working on creating new solutions use cases, proof of concept, and prototypes by exploring diverse data sets using tools such as Python/R;
  • Collaborating with other data science team units.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to possess:

  • A degree in Statistics, Economics, Actuarial Sciences, Operative Research, Econometrics, Data Science, or a similar quantitative field;
  • Professional experience preferably in the FMCG industry;
  • Broad industry knowledge of NielsenIQ reports and methodologies is beneficial.
Desirable Skills

The following skills would be highly desirable for this role:

  • Excellent communication, data visualization, and presentation skills;
  • Strong verbal, presentation, and written skills;
  • Expert proficiency in Excel and MS Office;
  • Basic knowledge of statistical or mathematical packages (R/Python).
