Job Title

Electrical Design Manager

This is a senior electrical design role that requires technical leadership and project management skills.

  • Plan and execute electrical design projects from conceptual design to completion for clients.
  • Design product solutions based on customer requirements for DC SMPS, UPS Panels, and Distribution Panels.
  • Provide technical guidance to team members and support internal and external customers.
  • Analyze technical requirements of project goals and prepare detailed design documents.
  • Review engineering drawings and design calculations in line with technical specifications and relevant engineering standards.
  • Optimize Bill of Materials (BOM) costs and implement quality engineering documentation practices.
  • Plan and execute process improvements and new product development projects as per Quality Management System requirements.
  • Collaborate with production and Quality teams to provide proactive engineering support.
  • Interface with customers to understand their requirements and validate product prototypes.

Requirements:

  • At least 10 years of experience in electrical/power system & UPS industries.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
  • Awareness of safety standards like IEC 60204-1 and IEC 61439-1-2.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD for SLD and wiring diagrams.
  • Experience in electro-mechanical designing of electrical panels/UPS panels.
  • Strong project management skills.
