Key Role: BIM Coordinator

The successful candidate will lead the implementation of Building Information Modelling (BIM) in a global architecture and design firm, managing strategic projects across multiple locations.

About the Job

We are looking for an experienced professional to lead our Mumbai office's BIM strategy, developing and maintaining BIM Execution Plans, ensuring alignment with international standards and global procedures. They will also support staff training, upskilling, and recruitment, guaranteeing the highest standards of BIM quality and efficiency across projects.

  • Develop and maintain BIM Execution Plans, implementing ISO19650 workflows and certification.
  • Manage communication and rollout of BIM standards changes within the Mumbai office.
  • Drive the implementation of group BIM workflows, tools, and standards at the local level.
  • Lead staff induction, knowledge-sharing, and training for BIM practices.
  • Coordinate and manage project BIM deliverables, reducing errors and delays.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for BIM-related issues in Mumbai, liaising with the global BIM leadership.
  • Support audits and ensure compliance with ISO19650 certification.
  • Oversee BIM-related software license renewals and allocations.
  • Represent BIM expertise in office meetings, audits, and client coordination.
  • Contribute to innovation in BIM workflows and foster cross-office collaboration.
Requirements
  • Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or relevant Built Environment disciplines.
  • Indian qualified professional with minimum 5+ years' post-qualification experience.
  • Hands-on expertise in Revit and BIM processes, ideally with experience in an architecture, engineering, or construction company.
  • Proven understanding of ISO19650 implementation and compliance.
  • Strong leadership skills to align and guide a local BIM/Revit team.
  • Knowledge across project work stages, particularly in Data Centres, Retail, and Hospitality sectors.
  • Prior experience working with international client organisations is an advantage.
  • Fluent in English (spoken & written).
  • Available to join within 3 months of offer acceptance.
