Job Opportunity:

MSBC Group is seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to shape the future of financial technology.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have experience with automated testing tools, particularly OpenText Unified Functional Testing (UFT), and a strong understanding of software development lifecycle.

  • Develop and execute automated test cases for new system software versions using UFT
  • Create, maintain, and update test cases and regression scripts based on business requirements
  • Report and manage software issues and test activities throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Participate in project meetings to discuss issues and report on testing status
  • Follow QA standards and policies
  • Provide estimates to help QA management produce an accurate schedule
  • Support Product Management group in testing various business scenarios and verifying functionality
  • Release management – maintenance of application versions and facilitation of version upgrades

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of general Quality Assurance experience with multi-tiered complex trading and/or risk management systems in the financial industry
  • 2+ years of experience working with UFT
  • Bachelor's degree in science and/or engineering
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • High motivation level and attention to detail
  • Ability to complete projects on time with minimal supervision
  • Willingness and ability to learn new technologies and tools

Key Technical Skills:

  • Expertise in OpenText Unified Functional Testing (UFT)
  • Experience with bug tracking software (e.g., Jira) and Test Case Management Tools
  • Design, code, and document automated test cases within a defined framework
  • Knowledge of financial products, e.g., FX, Rates, Credit, Commodities, etc.
