Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist individuals experiencing distress through voice and non-voice communication channels.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals' needs, including evaluating symptoms and identifying risk factors.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support, including de-escalation techniques and coordination with appropriate resources.
  • Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client assessments and interventions.
  • Pursue ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  1. Master's degree in Psychology or Counseling.
  2. Strong understanding of mental health principles and practices.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Able to maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy regulations.
  5. Familiarity with Kannada and/or other regional languages is an asset.
