Job Title: Software Quality Assurance Specialist

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through effective testing, validation, and verification processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and strategies to ensure that software meets requirements and specifications
  • Identify, report, and track defects or issues throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers, to ensure smooth delivery of software releases
  • Contribute to the creation of automated tests, scripts, and tools to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on software testing methodologies, best practices, and industry trends
  • Maintain accurate records of testing activities, results, and lessons learned

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong background in automation testing (backend + frontend)
  • Proficiency in tools like Cypress, Postman, RestAssured, or other API testing frameworks
  • Strong knowledge of manual testing practices, bug tracking, and version control systems
  • Good understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and related concepts
  • Knowledge of SQL for validating data integrity and backend processing
  • Experience writing test cases and maintaining test documentation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies, JIRA, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization technologies
