Job Title: Senior Full Stack Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer to lead our development team and manage project architecture at Weekday. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Node.js, JavaScript, React, and AWS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a development team ensuring timely delivery of projects.
  • Design and implement scalable and robust project architectures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and develop new features.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code for both the front end (React) and back end (Node.js).
  • Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Ensure software development best practices are followed and adhered to across the team.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
  • Oversee deployments and infrastructure management using AWS services.

Key Qualifications:

  • 5 years of professional experience in full stack development.
  • Proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript, and React for frontend and backend development.
  • Strong understanding of AWS services for cloud-based infrastructure management.
  • Hands-on experience with database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar.
  • Experience in leading teams and managing software development life cycles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with TypeScript is a plus.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools like Docker, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture.
