Software Development Expert

We are seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead the design and delivery of high-quality digital solutions, particularly in the sports industry.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop clean, reusable code adhering to best practices while helping to establish coding standards and team conventions.
  • Advocate for developer experience and continually improve it.
  • Lead technical design, architecture, and development of digital projects.
  • Collaborate with engineering leaders to understand problems and define technical scope.
  • Establish software development frameworks for release management, automation, code quality, and source control.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to other engineers.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in sports technology.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
  • High proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Next.js, with Node.js experience desirable.
  • Experience in CI/CD environments using tools like Circle CI, GitHub actions, or Azure DevOps.
  • Appreciation of DevOps and platform engineering culture.
  • Experience in agile development practices, continuous integration, and test automation via various methods.
  • Strong understanding of performance and health of applications via tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Data Dog, Sentry, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with others.
