The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in physiotherapy, combined with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling them to work effectively with students, teaching staff, and other professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Deliver 1:1 and group physiotherapy sessions that cater to each child's unique needs and goals.
  • Provide physical access and mobility support within the school environment, promoting independence and confidence.
  • Monitor progress and outcomes using evidence-based tools, ensuring that interventions are effective and aligned with best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with teaching staff and other professionals to ensure seamless integration and optimal outcomes.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3-7 years of experience working with children and adults with multiple disabilities.
  • A degree in Physiotherapy (BSc or MSc) and HCPC registration as a qualified physiotherapist.
  • Training in Manual Handling and Safeguarding Children.
  • Knowledge of conditions affecting motor development and experience with specialist equipment.
