Cognitive Systems Researcher

About the Role

This position involves exploring the intersection of cognitive systems and human-AI integration through original research on neuroplasticity, cognition, and AI augmentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth research on neuroplasticity, cognition, and AI-driven learning systems to advance our understanding of these complex phenomena.
  • Design, execute, and analyze experiments, cognitive models, and AI-driven learning systems to test hypotheses and develop innovative solutions.
  • Publish high-quality research in recognized peer-reviewed journals and present at global conferences to share findings and collaborate with experts in the field.
  • Collaborate with faculty across psychology, AI, and education departments to leverage diverse expertise and foster a culture of interdisciplinary research.
  • Support international grant proposals and cross-institutional collaborations to secure funding for research projects and expand the team's reach.
  • Mentor graduate and doctoral students in related research domains to develop their skills and knowledge in cognitive systems and AI research.
Requirements
  • PhD (or nearing completion) in Cognitive Psychology, Neuroscience, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field to demonstrate a strong foundation in cognitive systems and AI research.
  • A strong publication record in recognized journals to showcase expertise and contribute to the advancement of the field.
  • Experience with neurocognitive research tools and machine learning frameworks to design, implement, and analyze experiments and models.
  • Demonstrated ability to work on interdisciplinary research projects to leverage diverse expertise and foster collaboration.
