About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will have expertise in designing, developing, and implementing large-scale machine learning applications.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement machine learning models using Python-based ML pipelines for data preprocessing, model training, and deployment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop AI solutions.
  • Partner with data scientists and product teams to build and deploy machine learning models.
  • Implement and optimize AI technologies to enhance current processes, security, and performance.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training.


The following qualifications are preferred but not required:

  • A Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • 1+ years of full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience designing, developing, and implementing large-scale machine learning applications.
  • Airline Industry experience.

Skillset:

The successful candidate will have proficiency in:

  • Python.
  • Azure AI Foundry services, including Azure ML.
  • Database and persistence frameworks: Hibernate, Oracle, Object/Relational Mapping, Query performance tuning.
  • Cloud-based development: Microsoft Azure, AWS.
  • Web Servers.
  • Web Services: REST/SOAP (JSON/WSDL/XML).
  • AI/ML Frameworks: MLOps Tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow, Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Build/deployment tools.
  • Post-deployment model maintenance: observability, monitoring, drift detection.

Bonus Skills:

The ideal candidate will also have knowledge of:

  • Vector Databases.
  • Data pipelines, ETL, distributed computing frameworks.
  • Generative-based AI solutions using Large-Language Models (LLMs).
  • Prompt Engineering.
