Integration Expert

About the Role

You will be responsible for developing and supporting business-to-business (B2B) integrations in webMethods 10.x version and webMethods.io.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with IT Business and process owners to gather requirements and refine specifications
  • Design and develop new integrations in webMethods
  • Analyze and resolve technical issues related to integration
  • Manage the entire lifecycle of a solution, including design, development, testing, quality assurance, user acceptance testing, migration to production, and source code management
  • Establish and manage connections with external entities and backend systems
  • Work closely with customers to troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve integration failures
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with webMethods components, including Integration Server, Trading Networks, Universal Messaging, Terracotta, Active Transfer, etc.
  • Experience with webMethods.io architecture
  • Proficiency in developing integrations using webMethods Flow Language
  • Ability to build integrations in loosely coupled design using publish-subscribe via Universal Messaging
  • Knowledge of SAP Adapter and integrations with SAP through IDOC, RFC, and ODATA
  • Understanding of B2B industry standards, such as EDI X12, UNEDIFACT, cXML, AS2, and AS4, as well as generic data formats like XML, JSON, and flat files
  • Knowledge of common network protocols, including HTTP, SFTP, SMB, SOAP, REST, and encryptions/security mechanisms like TLS, SSL, SSH
  • Familiarity with modern authentication solutions, such as OAuth, OIDC, JWT, and ability to configure and manage them in Azure AD
  • Knowledge of Virtual File System (VFS) and Active Transfer job setup
  • Basic understanding of Windows Server and Linux OS

This role involves working directly with customers, collaborating with a global agile team, and interacting with contacts from different regions and cultures. You must have excellent English language skills, both written and spoken, and be able to adapt quickly to changing priorities and deadlines within an Agile framework.
