Private Equity Fund Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Private Equity Fund Analyst to join our team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining portfolio details of various private equity funds.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Update and manage portfolio details of various private equity funds.
  • Prepare pre-defined investor-specific quarterly reporting templates.
  • Analyze PE Funds performance by reviewing fund cash flows and quarterly/financial reports.
  • Calculate fund valuation data such as investment cost, realized/unrealized value, gross/net multiple, gross/net IRR, and financial KPIs like revenue, EBITDA, net debt, and valuation/leverage multiples.
  • Track the performance of operational KPIs and provide operational updates on a quarterly basis.
  • Create/update fund track record and reconcile data using cash flow notices.
  • Calculate fund multiples and IRRs using cash flows and perform various fund analytics like attribution and value creation analysis.
  • Reconcile portfolio level operational data including geographical presence, headquarters, and portfolio leverage.
  • Coordinate with different teams to obtain accurate information on time and maintain regular communication with clients regarding task status.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • A postgraduate degree or equivalent professional certification (CFA, CA, MBA, CCRA, CIIA, CAIA).
  • 1-10 years of relevant financial services experience, preferably in management reporting, operational finance, or research.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, is essential. Experience with Power BI, Microsoft Access, and E-front+ is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and prioritize tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail and producing high-quality work products.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for effective collaboration and client communication.
