Content Writer Job Description

We are seeking a talented Content Writer to join our team. As a Content Writer, you will be responsible for creating engaging and effective content for our marketing campaigns.

Job Overview:

The ideal candidate will have a flair for storytelling and creativity, with excellent written communication skills. They will be responsible for conducting thorough research on the target audience and brand guidelines to ensure that the messaging is brand-specific and resonates with the audience.

  • Researching and writing high-quality and creative concepts and scripts for influencer campaigns which includes video content, social media ads, product reviews and brand endorsements
  • Conduct thorough research on the target audience and brand guidelines to ensure that the messaging is brand-specific and resonates with the audience
  • Creating and executing a content calendar
  • Collaborate with the Influencer Marketing team to develop campaign ideas and brainstorm new ways to promote brand messaging.
  • Review, edit and proofread scripts and content to ensure that they are accurate, engaging, and in sync with the brand's campaign.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of marketing and branding, as well as knowledge of social media trends and best practices. They will be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

  • Knowledge of social media trends and best practices
  • Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or similar role
  • Portfolio of published articles
  • Should be well-versed with writing scripts for digital videos
  • Should be well-versed with blogging content, newsletters, and social media copies
  • Should have a knack to learn new things and stay updated on all things digital
  • Should be related to or directly advertising background, creating and managing social media content
  • Should have an adventurous and quirky way to emote through words
  • Should have an entrepreneurial perspective towards work and be willing to work independently

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or related field
  • Strong portfolio of published work
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and practices
