Key Responsibilities:

  2. Design, implement and maintain robust security controls and measures for AWS infrastructure and applications.

  3. Conduct thorough security assessments and audits of AWS environments to identify vulnerabilities and misconfigurations.

  4. Implement and manage various AWS security services and features to ensure optimal security posture.

  5. Monitor AWS environments for potential security threats and incidents, responding promptly to security alerts.

  6. Develop and maintain comprehensive security documentation, policies and procedures for AWS environments.

  7. Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps processes.

  8. Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS security services, features and best practices to evaluate their applicability to our environments.

  9. Provide guidance and support to development and operations teams on security-related matters.

  10. Design and implement scalable and efficient AWS infrastructure using best practices for reliability, cost and performance.

  11. Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration and deployment processes using tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation and Ansible.

  12. Monitor system performance and reliability metrics to identify areas for improvement.

  13. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues in a timely manner.

  14. Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and ensure seamless deployment in the AWS environment.

  15. Implement and maintain disaster recovery solutions to ensure business continuity.

  16. Ensure Fault Management, Configuration Management and Performance Management of live products.

  17. Implement 24/7 monitoring processes and coordinate with Support/Operations team to ensure 99.99% availability of products running with clients as well as Cloud.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • B.E/B.Tech/MCA degree

  • 3-6 years of experience in AWS Cloud

  • Expertise in designing and implementing security controls and measures for AWS infrastructure and applications

  • Deep knowledge of AWS security services and features

  • Experience with security assessment and auditing tools and techniques

  • Hands-on experience with security incident response activities

  • Familiarity with security standards and frameworks

  • AWS certifications are mandatory
