Job Responsibilities

As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will:

  • Collaborate across teams and lead technical discussions
  • Mentor junior team members through knowledge sharing sessions
  • Adapt to different roles and technologies as project needs evolve
  • Proactive mindset with excellent client communication and collaboration skills
  • Use Agile methodologies to manage projects and deliverables

Required Skills

To be successful, you should have:

  • Experience with managing large-scale infrastructure systems
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language
  • Good understanding of software delivery principles
  • Technical agility: Ability to adapt to different roles and technologies when needed
Desired Technical Skills

You should have:

  • Good understanding of Linux and software-defined networking
  • Work experience in configuration management using tools like Ansible and Chef
  • Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery concepts
  • Experience with tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI
  • Familiarity with the Cloud-Native ecosystem and tools like Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Envoy
  • Deep understanding of containers & container orchestrators like Nomad, Kubernetes
  • Ability to manage and organize infrastructure as code using Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation, AWS CDK
  • Familiarity with at least one primary cloud provider
  • Understanding of Observability and ability to collaborate with dev teams
  • Good understanding of distributed systems and SQL/NoSQL databases
  • Familiarity with basic cloud security
