Role: Senior QA Automation Engineer (Playwright)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test suites using Playwright.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers for comprehensive test coverage and business requirements alignment.
  • Develop reusable test frameworks for UI, API, and end-to-end testing.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for efficient and reliable deployments.
  • Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating with engineering for resolution.
  • Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and scripts for both manual and automated testing efforts.
  • Conduct performance, regression, and cross-browser testing to validate application quality across platforms.
Requirements

8+ years of total experience in software testing, 3+ years in test automation using Playwright or similar frameworks.

Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, including experience writing test scripts for browser automation.

Good understanding of RESTful APIs and experience using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools for API testing.

Experience with version control systems like Git and collaborative workflows.

Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI.

Solid grasp of Agile/Scrum methodologies and comfort working in iterative environments.

Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Clear written and verbal communication skills.
