Radar Signal Processing Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Radar Signal Processing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing advanced signal processing algorithms for radar systems.

  • Design and develop complex signal processing algorithms and perform analysis of these systems as needed in Radar applications.
  • Work closely with a team of engineers and designers to enhance the performance and capabilities of radar systems.
  • Collaborate with hardware and software teams to ensure seamless integration of signal processing algorithms into radar systems.
  • Optimize existing algorithms for performance improvements and troubleshoot issues related to signal processing.
  • Prepare technical documentation which includes design specifications, test plans and user manuals.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and simulate digital signal processing blocks using MATLAB/SIMULINK tools required for Receivers and Transmitters.
  • Analyze radar data to validate algorithm performance and use simulation tools to model and predict radar system behavior.
  • Conduct tests and evaluations of radar systems to assess performance and prepare technical documentation accordingly.
Requirements:
  • Good understanding of communication type architectures, waveforms and abilities to perform simulations would be involved.
  • Strong skills in programming languages such as C++, Python or Java would be an added advantage.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with engineers and designers to achieve project goals.
