Linux System Administration Role

About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced Linux system administrator to manage our infrastructure. This is a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our servers and services.

  • Install, maintain, and decommission servers (physical/VM).
  • Troubleshoot server down situations effectively.
  • Manage central infrastructure services such as Security Groups, RPM, Rsync, Mail, Active Directory, Chef automation, Nagios, repository management, and Monitoring.

Requirements:

  • 3 – 6 years of experience in Server Management Administration (Linux).
  • Profound knowledge of Linux OS operations.
  • Good troubleshooting skills.
  • Associate level knowledge in at least one public cloud landscape.
  • Basic knowledge in automation tools and scripting.
  • Familiarity with central infrastructure services is recommended.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with Prometheus on Docker setup and/or ELK stack.
  • Knowledge/experience in using GitHub and Jira.
