Airframe Designer

We are seeking an experienced UAV design expert to join our R&D team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in aircraft design, aerodynamics, CAD modeling, and systems integration.

This role is a critical part of our team, responsible for the design and development of fixed-wing and/or VTOL UAV platforms from concept through to prototype and production.

• The successful candidate will lead and contribute to the conceptual and detailed design of UAV airframes and sub-systems.
• Aerodynamic analysis and optimization of UAV configurations will be performed to ensure optimal performance.
• Structural components and assemblies will be designed using advanced composite and lightweight materials.
• Detailed 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawings will be developed.
• Collaboration with electronics, propulsion, and software teams will ensure seamless system integration.
• Structural and thermal analysis (FEA, CFD) will be conducted to validate design performance.
• Participation in UAV prototyping, assembly, ground testing, and flight trials is required.
• Design processes, BOMs, and support for regulatory compliance for airworthiness will be documented.

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in UAV or aircraft design, preferably 2–5 years.
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, NX, or similar).
• A strong understanding of aerodynamics, flight mechanics, and structural design.
• Experience with composite materials and UAV fabrication techniques.
