This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development of our next-generation big data platform. As a Senior Big Data Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable architecture for big data and micro-services environments.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in design and architecture of big data solutions using Spark. You should also have expertise in performance testing for large infrastructure, search solutions like Solr/Elastic, and event flow pipeline management.

A strong understanding of caching components or services, knowledge of Presto technology, Airflow, scripting, and automation are highly desirable. Experience working with ML models engineering and deployment, secure big data clusters meeting compliance requirements, and leading delivery of large-scale systems focused on managing infrastructure layer of technology stack are essential.

You should possess excellent technical leadership skills to provide guidance to engineering teams on data platform design, rollout, and evolution. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required to work effectively with product teams, professional services, and sales engineers on solution and trade-off reviews.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • 8+ years of total experience.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in design and architecture big data solutions using Spark.
  • 3+ years experience working with engineering resources for innovation.
  • Experience working with ML models engineering and deployment.
  • Knowledge of Presto technology, Airflow, and caching components or services.
