Senior Data Scientist Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist to lead data-driven initiatives and spearhead advanced exploratory data analysis, building scalable machine learning models that drive business growth.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python, generative AI (GenAI), and machine learning deployment frameworks, with a good understanding of the life sciences domain and excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Drive end-to-end data science projects from data preparation to model deployment, ensuring scalability and performance.
  2. Apply LLMs, transformers, and other GenAI techniques to solve complex business problems and stay current with advancements in the field.
  3. Guide and mentor junior data scientists in technical delivery, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  4. Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable AI solutions, aligning with organizational goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in Python and ML frameworks, including experience with MLOps and cloud platforms.
  • Deep expertise in NLP, LLM fine-tuning, transformers, and GenAI frameworks, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience with data engineering concepts, large-scale data handling, and vector databases, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
