Java Technical Lead Role Summary:

Overview:

T3 Strategic Partners seeks a talented and experienced Java Technical Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our Java development team, overseeing the design and implementation of microservices architecture, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality Java code.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Java developers, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to foster their technical skills and growth.
  • Establish and maintain high standards for code quality, architecture, and best practices within the team.
  • Foster a collaborative and learning-oriented environment within the team.
  • Champion the adoption of microservices architecture principles within the team.
  • Design and implement microservices with clear boundaries, strong APIs, and fault tolerance mechanisms.
  • Ensure efficient communication and data exchange between microservices.
  • Develop high-quality, efficient, and reusable Java code for microservices.
  • Utilize design patterns and best practices for building maintainable and scalable Java applications.
  • Work closely with DevOps and QA teams to ensure smooth integration, deployment, and testing of microservices.
  • Stay updated with emerging trends and advancements in Java development and microservices technologies.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage new tools and frameworks to improve development processes and application performance.
  • Lead the team in adopting new technologies and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Java development with a strong focus on object-oriented programming principles.
  • In-depth understanding of microservices architecture principles, design patterns, and benefits.
  • Proven experience in leading and mentoring a team of developers.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
