Cloud Architect Position

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Architect to design, implement and optimize our enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure.

This role will be hands-on with architecture and automation while providing strategic direction on cloud adoption, DevOps tooling and best practices.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in Cloud Architecture or related roles, with deep expertise in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and strong technical knowledge of container orchestration, scaling and governance.

Azure Expertise:

  • Architect and provision AKS clusters with features like cluster and node pool autoscaling, private cluster configuration, network isolation using Azure CNI / Kubenet, managed identities and Azure AD integration.

DevOps & Automation:

  • Design Infrastructure as Code solutions with Terraform, Bicep or ARM templates for AKS provisioning.
  • Implement GitOps workflows for automated deployments.
  • Define CI/CD architecture using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or Jenkins for AKS workloads.

Security & Compliance:

  • Architect RBAC and Azure AD security models for AKS access.
  • Integrate security scanning for container images and Kubernetes workloads.
  • Ensure alignment with compliance frameworks and governance policies.

Monitoring, Logging & Observability:

  • Architect observability solutions using Azure Monitor, Managed Prometheus, Container Insights and Grafana.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 10+ years in Cloud Architecture, DevOps or related roles.
  • 5+ years hands-on Azure experience, with deep AKS expertise.
  • Strong technical expertise in Kubernetes architecture and troubleshooting, Azure networking, IaC tools, container security and governance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
  • Experience with service mesh architectures, multi-cluster management tools and workload migration to AKS.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication and presentation skills for both technical and business audiences.
  • Ability to lead design workshops and architecture reviews.
  • Strategic problem-solver with hands-on implementation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define the end-to-end architecture for AKS-based workloads in Azure.
  • Design multi-environment, multi-region AKS architectures for high availability and disaster recovery.
