Job Title: Frontend Developer

This is a challenging role for an experienced Frontend Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of high-quality software solutions.

The successful candidate will have excellent web development skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.

As a member of our agile team, you will be responsible for developing high-quality software that meets requirements, promotes re-use of software components, and facilitates ease of support. You will also be responsible for diagnosing, isolating, and implementing remedies for system failures caused by errors in software code.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements in engineering practices, utilize software-based system maintenance and tracking tools, and provide input and technical content for technical documentation, user help materials, and customer training.

In this role, you will conduct unit tests, track problems, and implement changes to ensure adherence to test plans and functional/nonfunctional requirements. You will also implement software mechanisms to improve code stability, performance, and reusability, participate and lead code review sessions, and create high-fidelity estimates of your own work efforts.

You will apply good debugging and troubleshoot techniques to understand and resolve defects found in software, and create high-quality documentation as required. You will develop and improve test-driven development while producing software, learn and apply test methodology, processes, procedures, standards, and tools used by the team, and practice agile development principles with Scrum.

We are looking for someone with 3+ years of related experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Strong web development skills using HTML5/CSS3, Native JavaScript, AngularJS, Angular, or ReactJS, and other web server technologies are essential. Strong understanding of software development and quality assurance best practices, strong troubleshooting techniques, and problem-solving skills are also required.

Able to understand business and technical requirements, document them in the form of word documents and/or UML diagrams, and communicate effectively with stakeholders. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary, as well as teamwork and collaboration skills. Bilingual candidates are preferred, but not required.

Familiarity with cloud development, POS and self-checkout integrations, and experience working on one of the cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google) are added advantages.
