We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing technology components for enterprise solutions and defining solution architectures and reference architectures with a focus on cloud technologies.

A key aspect of this role is the ability to drive the deployment of customers' workloads into Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and provide guidance on cloud adoption models, service integrations, and technical roadmaps. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing technical solutions based on industry standards using GCP's Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) capabilities.

The role requires strong expertise in Big Data technologies including Hadoop, Sqoop, Hive, and Spark, as well as experience with DevOps. Additionally, the candidate should have good hands-on expertise in either Python or Java programming. A strong understanding of GCP core services such as Google Cloud Storage, Google Compute Engine, Cloud SQL, and Cloud IAM is also essential.

The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of IT experience, with at least 2 years of experience in GCP. They should be able to effectively use GCP managed services such as Dataproc, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, BigQuery, and GCS. Experience with Cloud Composer, Cloud SQL, BigTable, and Cloud Functions is also desirable.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop technical roadmaps and cloud adoption strategies
  • Provide expert-level support for GCP services and tools
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
