Lead Software Engineering Expert

We are seeking a seasoned software engineering leader to join our team. As a key member of our leadership group, you will be responsible for guiding and mentoring our team of software engineers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Your primary focus will be on leading by example, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation, and driving technical excellence across the organization. You will work closely with our product and design teams to plan and deliver new features aligned with business objectives.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape the technical direction of our company, drive architectural decisions, and ensure the quality and security of our software products.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading and mentoring a team of software engineers to achieve technical goals and objectives
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to plan and deliver new features and projects
  • Taking ownership of project execution from technical design to development, testing, deployment, and post-launch support
  • Maintaining high standards for code quality, performance, and security through architectural guidance and code reviews
  • Identifying and addressing technical blockers to ensure timely delivery of product milestones

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 5-10 years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years as a technical lead
  • Strong hands-on experience in full-stack development using JavaScript (Node.js, React.js) and Java
  • Understanding of cloud infrastructure and experience deploying applications on AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB)
  • Deep experience with RESTful APIs, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation
