Strategic Product Leadership Role

This is a senior leadership position that combines product management, marketing, and commercial expertise to drive business growth.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Indian market and trade ecosystem, as well as experience in developing and executing portfolio strategies. They will be responsible for shaping the global ranges to resonate with Indian customers, channel partners, and specifiers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Owning the go-to-market strategy and translating global positioning into locally relevant narratives.
  • Defining clear product ladders, price architecture, and value propositions to differentiate between mass-premium and luxury segments.
  • Conducting ongoing market research and competitive benchmarking to identify portfolio gaps and opportunities.
Market Insights and Adaptation:
  • Partnering with global product teams to adapt SKUs, finishes, and designs to local preferences.
  • Driving data-backed decisions for portfolio rationalization and introductions.
Product Lifecycle Management:
  • Overseeing product launches, updates, and phase-outs with a cross-functional launch calendar.
  • Leading the creation of sales enablement tools (TDS sheets, design guides, hero product kits).
  • Monitoring product performance metrics: margin, contribution, and market penetration, adjusting strategies in real time.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Working closely with Sales, Retail Excellence, and Supply Chain teams to ensure portfolio adoption.
  • Engaging with dealers, architects, and influencers to gather feedback and fine-tune positioning.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: MBA/PGDM in Marketing/Strategy or similar.
  • Experience: 10-12 years in product management, category marketing, or portfolio strategy.
  • Deep understanding of Indian trade, retail, and architect ecosystems.
  • Analytical thinker with P&L ownership experience.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
