Ink Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Ink Specialist with expertise in flexographic or gravure printing processes.

• Formulate, mix, and adjust inks for flexographic or gravure printing presses based on production requirements and customer specifications.
• Conduct color matching using drawdowns, spectrophotometers, and visual assessments.
• Maintain accurate records of ink formulas, batch numbers, and color standards.
• Work closely with press operators and production teams to troubleshoot ink-related issues.
• Manage ink inventory, including ordering, receiving, and proper storage of inks and solvents.
• Ensure all inks comply with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of ink mixing and dispensing equipment.
• Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance print quality, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.

• Must be a science graduate or have a degree/diploma in printing technology.
• 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience as an Ink Technician in flexographic or gravure printing environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced production setting.
• Proficiency in Bengali, English, and Hindi languages.
