Sourcing and Supply Chain Professional

About the Role:

This is a dynamic opportunity for a skilled Sourcing and Supply Chain professional to join our team. As a key member of our regional quote team, you will play a crucial role in supporting activities related to the quotation process.

You will be responsible for working closely with suppliers, sourcing and identifying the lowest competitive quotes, and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.

In addition, you will utilize your analytical skills to review parts numbers, descriptions, and provide alternative suggestions to meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Work collaboratively with the regional quote team to source and procure materials and services.
  2. Analyze and evaluate supplier proposals to determine the most cost-effective options.
  3. Maintain accurate records and reports on supplier performance and inventory levels.
  4. Develop and implement strategies to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in sourcing and supply base management, preferably in EMS or Active & Passive commodities environment.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in PC tools and business analysis software.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific software and systems.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for business meetings and training sessions.
