Responsibilities:- Estimate Preparation: Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects based on specifications, drawings, and other documents.
- Technical Analysis: Analyze and interpret technical documents and drawings to assess project requirements.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with sales managers, supply teams, and other stakeholders to gather relevant information for accurate estimations.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify pricing trends and cost-effective solutions.
- Databases Maintenance: Maintain and update databases of historical costs for future reference.
- Bid Preparation: Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and presentations for clients.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and opportunities within project estimates.
- Vendor Verification: Review and verify vendor quotes to ensure competitiveness and accuracy.
- Project Support: Support the project management team during the project execution phase to monitor budget adherence.
To succeed as a Senior Estimation Specialist, you should have a bachelor's degree in a related field, such as construction management or engineering, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, are essential.
Compensation and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this position is ₹800,000 - ₹1,200,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. Additional benefits include medical insurance, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
