About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mathematics and Statistics Educator to join our team at AP Guru. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching mathematics and statistics, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality online classes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching Online Classes: Deliver engaging online math and stats classes for IB, A Level, IGCSE, AP, and other international curriculum exams.
  • Concept Explanation: Clearly explain complex mathematical concepts in easy-to-understand terms, ensuring students grasp the material effectively.
  • Real-Life Examples: Utilize real-life examples to teach geometrical concepts, making the subject more relatable and interesting.
  • Student Development: Foster students' interest in mathematics, physics, and statistics by creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Teaching Materials: Plan and develop teaching materials that cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Assignments and Feedback: Assign tasks to students, providing constructive feedback to help them improve.
  • Classroom Discussions: Facilitate interactive classroom discussions on various topics, promoting critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Support for Slow Learners: Offer additional support to students who require extra assistance, helping them catch up with their peers.
  • Relationship Building: Establish a positive rapport with students, creating a safe and inclusive learning space.
  • Problem-Solving: Solve various math problems in the classroom, demonstrating effective problem-solving strategies.
  • Progress Reporting: Monitor and report student progress in the math subject, identifying areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Teaching Experience: Proven experience in teaching mathematics and statistics, either formally or informally.
  • Student-Centered Approach: A deep understanding of how students learn best, with a flexible approach to teaching.
  • Curriculum Familiarity: Familiarity with curriculum requirements and teaching methods.
