Job Title: Senior Manager, IT Applications

About This Role

This position is responsible for overseeing the administration and operation of various academic, administrative, and enterprise-level information technology applications.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Strategic planning and management of IT application lifecycle including deployment, configuration, upgrades, integration, performance optimization.
  • Ensuring high availability, reliability, security, and compliance with institutional policies and external regulatory requirements.
  • Overseeing incident management, issue resolution, and root cause analysis for application-related problems.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Building and maintaining effective relationships with academic leaders, administrative heads, and vendors to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Liaising with application vendors and service providers to negotiate contracts, manage SLAs, and ensure quality service delivery.
  • Fostering a culture of service excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
Team Leadership and Strategic Governance:
  • Leading and mentoring the application support team at the campus level, providing guidance on IT governance standards and documentation.
  • Developing and implementing strategies for digital transformation aligned with institutional goals.
  • Managing vendor relationships and promoting innovative technology solutions to enhance teaching, learning, and operations.
Data Management and Integration:
  • Driving seamless integration of CRM, SIS, LMS, ERP, HRMS, and other systems to ensure data integrity, consistency, and accessibility.
  • Maintaining compliance with data privacy, cybersecurity, and higher education regulatory requirements.
  • Ensuring that all data management processes are secure, efficient, and aligned with institutional standards.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • At least 15 years of experience in IT application management, preferably in higher education or large enterprise environments.
  • Expertise in managing Salesforce CRM, ERP (Finance & HR), SIS, LMS, Library Management, and related systems.
  • Strong experience in application integration, vendor management, IT governance, and leadership.
  • Demonstrated success in leading teams and managing complex projects.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity, compliance, and digital transformation best practices.
