About this role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced test engineer to join our quality assurance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for software products
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems
  • Conduct exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and usability issues
Test Automation Expertise
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard frameworks (Selenium, Cypress)
  • Build and enhance continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) testing pipelines
  • Create automated API tests using tools like Postman, REST Assured
  • Maintain test automation frameworks and improve test coverage

Working with Our Team

  • Work closely with developers, product managers, and designers throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives
  • Provide feedback on requirements and user stories from a testing perspective
  • Contribute to improving testing processes, methodologies, and best practices
Required Qualifications

Technical Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
  • Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (Selenium WebDriver, Cypress)
  • Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI, REST Assured)
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)

Testing Expertise:

  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test design techniques, and QA processes
  • Experience with both manual and automated testing approaches
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
  • Understanding of database testing and SQL queries
  • Familiarity with mobile testing (iOS/Android)

  • Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple testing projects
