About this role
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead a team in ensuring the safe, stable, and efficient operation of FPSO/FPU assets.
This is a unique opportunity for individuals who want to advance their offshore career in a leadership position where skills and safety truly make an impact.
The ideal candidate will have experience in leading a team of mechanical technicians, fitters, welders, and specialists to perform preventive and corrective maintenance safely and efficiently.
- Oversight of all mechanical systems onboard (rotating machinery, static equipment, HVAC, utilities)
- Leading a team of 5+ years offshore experience, with 2+ years on FPSO/FPU, plus pre-commissioning exposure
- Strong grasp of offshore safety systems and industry standards (SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM), and basic asset reliability principles like condition monitoring
- Proven leadership: experience supervising small mechanical crews (technicians, fitters, welders) in both planned and reactive maintenance
The successful candidate will be part of a highly skilled offshore team committed to operational excellence and safety, with opportunities for continuous professional growth and offshore leadership development.
We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of mechanical systems onboard FPSOs/FPUs, including rotating equipment, static machinery, utilities, and HVAC.
The ideal candidate will also have excellent troubleshooting and fault-finding skills, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and support root-cause analysis.
